Cormac Russell - When the Queen Goes Down (single)

Canadian born, but raised in Ireland, Cormac Russell has taken his music across the globe, including England and China. He released his second album titled 'Nately's Whore' in September. Playing all the instruments himself, he draws from a diverse range of influences; from contemporaries like Mac DeMarco and Nick Cave to literary giants like Walt Whitman. The album takes its name from a character in Joseph Heller's Catch 22, and this book played an important role in the work's evolution. In the mean time, he launched the album at The Workman's Club, Dublin and appeared on Irish radio. He will be releasing his third album 'Regicide' in May of this year.

Davy Lyons - Evidence

Davy Lyons, from Wexford, Ireland, based in Barcelona in recent years, writes to survive. Intimate, intense, image-laden, his work tells stories: from the early ballads of wanderers, murder and love by a river, to the songs he is writing today, chronicling daily life; sights and characters that cross his watchful heart, chronicles to cheat death. In concert what is discovered in solitary is shared, silence is allowed and valued, melody and word meet, bind us, open us, soothe us, private worlds momentarily united in a ceremony of intimacy.

Moon Looks On - Friends Keep Dropping (single)

Moon Looks On is the musical project of Irish singer-songwriter Stephen Gormley. Originally a trance DJ from Sligo, Stephen picked up a guitar for the first time 10 years ago. So instant was his connection with the instrument, and so blatant was his talent as a musician, that in 2014 he decided to move to Dublin to study for a degree in Commercial Modern Music at BIMM Dublin. That was in 2015 and he hasn’t looked back since. Moon Looks On subsequently released an eponymous, five-track EP that garnered enough attention for the band to be booked to perform at Other Voices (2016), Electric Picnic (2017), Sligo Live (2017), Westport Arts Festival (2017) and Knockanstockan (2018) and Somerset House London (2017). With a debut album due for release later in the year, it’s looking like 2020 will be huge for Moon Looks On.
