Music from the Heart

Cork based alternative rock band Paradox has been on the music scene for twenty years. They have released five albums to date. Hugely influenced by the Grunge Era of the 90's they later found their own sound and kept developing it. Powerful lyrics and timeless music has granted them success on both sides of the Atlantic.

We all know the Irish have a gift of storytelling and that's maybe why their songwriting tradition is so strong. Laois native and North Cork area based Brian Lalor has been making music for over a decade. He puts himself and his feelings into the lines. His style is at the crossroads between country, folk and rock but the result is natural and catchy.

Cork singer/songwriter Cormac O Caoimh proudly waves the flag high. Not only the flag of the nation, of belonging among the family of Cork musicians but surely of the songwriting as a craft. His songs clearly show he’s mature as a songwriter, plays with melodies and with words creating something unique that makes it difficult not to sing along to even though you don’t know the words. Songs are catchy and simply force you to pay attention to the lyrics.
