Music in Dublin, August 2016
I wrote this for my friend's blog after our visit of Ireland's capital in August 2016.
Once, the musical
On August 18th me and Hana went to Olympia theatre to see "Once, the musical". You surely know the movie "Once" with Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. I was lucky to see the musical last year when me and my husband George made a journey around Ireland. We were curious about the play and didn't really know what to expect. We knew it will be great but it exceeded our expectations. Even after all this time I can't find the right words that would describe it. The fact that the play takes place in Dublin and you see it in Dublin theatre, gets you.

There are news you can never be ready for. The one that came on February 2nd about the sudden death of Fergus O'Farrell of Interference, was one of them. The charismatic artist who ended up on a wheelchair due to muscular dystrophy, passed away at home, aged 48. A few days before Colin Vearncombe aka Black passed away and Fergus was due to sing at his funeral. But the destiny had different plans...
Everyday being your best day (Mic Christopher)
There are some musicians whose career lasts for decades but there are others who didn't have such opportunity but their contribution to the music scene is priceless and people remember them forever.
Cloud Cult: A personal journey
