Somewhat of a nineties supergroup, Dublin outfit Klubber Lang are made up of Revelino guitarist Ciaran Tallon, ex-(sic) bass player Ciaran McGoldrick on vocals and bass, ex-Mexican Pets drummer Fin O'Leary and producer Ronan McHugh on keyboards. With the two singles released to date, ‘There, There’ and ‘Not My Day’, Klubber Lang have made a real statement of intent and have created a real level of expectation about what is yet to come.
FIFA Records are delighted to announce that ‘Klubber Lang’ will be the latest addition to the FIFA Records roster. Since its founding in 2005, Cork label ‘Forever In Financial Arrears’ or FIFA Records as it is more commonly known have continuously worked with exciting new Irish talent (Fight Like Apes, One Morning in August, The Vincent(s), Hope is Noise, Dae Kim, Lorraine Nash) as well as releasing material from established names on the Irish indie scene such as The Frank & Walters, Emperor of Ice Cream, August Wells, Power of Dreams and Whipping Boy.
Klubber Lang’ make a welcome return with their new single ‘Make Amends’, the follow up to their 2021’s ‘This Place’, and the band's fourth release since teaming up with Irish independent label FIFA Records.
With the Dublin outfit continuing their release of unrelentingly visceral rock songs, Klubber Lang have garnered many admirers both at home and further afield and have created a real level of expectation with their series of singles over the last 18 months released on FIFA which include ‘Sleep Well’, ‘I Will Not Wait’ and the aforementioned ‘This Place’.
With every released track it seems the band plays louder, quicker, harder and with their latest offering Make Amends you have an instant sensation it cannot go any further and they are nearly reaching the limits of their abilities. However, you can always expect a surprise from this hghly energetic bunch. Drums and roaring guitars are the driving forces here and set the scene for a loud and sweaty night in a club.
