ADT - Volume Two
ADT from west Cork, Ireland, writes stories of the heart wrapped in atmospheric soundscapes. He is a member of Irish band LOWMountain and a honorary member of the legendary group Interference. He released his debut solo album - Volume One - in 2020 - and he now shares the follow up, appropriately titled, Volume Two.
For the opening track, Love Is Another Kind of Knowing, ADT joined musical forces with award-winning Limerick songwriter Emma Langford. She adds a feminine energy to the track and another emotional dimension. This collaboration feels natural as if these two were meant to sing together.
Rockdale takes the listener on a trip to the wild coast, makes you feel the breeze in your hair and the love in your heart. Like all tracks on this collection, it plays with the imagination and heals the soul if you allow it.
The Rain Washes The Day Clear to Blue is painfully haunting and the lyrics will give you shivers ("morphine drip takes a grip and I'm sorry for what I have said" or "gather me up into your arms and I'll always be with you").
